Amritsar Police issues clarification on death of dog in Galiara outside Sri Darbar Sahib after social media flurry

Amritsar, May 17, 2026: A female dog died under mysterious circumstances on Galiara outside Sri Darbar Sahib. After deaths social media was flooded with allegations that unidentified Nihangs have murdered the dog after levelling allegations of sacrilege.
After this social media flurry, One Jasbir Kaur filed a police complaint in this regard. Now police has come out with a clarification that they have searched all the cameras installed on Galiara and have found nothing which displays how dog was injured. But sadly, dog has expired.
