  Chandigarh, May 29, 2026: Aam Admi Party (AAP) is leading comfortably in initial counting of votes for Local body elections by winning 151 seats and leading on more than 300 others.
  
  Akali Dal has won 38 seats and is leading on around 400 seats. Congress has won 39 seats and is leading on 300 whereas Independents have won 44 seats and are leading on large number of seats.
