Abu Dhabi/Dubai (UAE), July 10, 2026: The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai have introduced a free online appointment system for passport, visa and attestation services as part of an ongoing transition in consular operations in the UAE.
The move follows the end of services by previous outsourcing agencies BLS International and SGIVS Global. While the earlier service providers' contracts have ended, the Government of India has appointed Al Hind Tours and Travels LLC as the new outsourced service provider for passport, visa and consular services in the UAE. During the transition, passport, visa and attestation services are being provided directly at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai through an appointment-based system.
Applicants can now book appointments free of cost through the official portal:
book.passportindiauae.com
The Embassy has clarified that no fee is charged for booking appointments and has cautioned applicants against paying money to agents or individuals claiming to offer faster appointment slots.
Indian missions have also warned the public to rely only on official communication channels for consular information and to remain vigilant against fraudulent claims by unauthorised agents. Anyone facing misinformation or suspected fraud has been advised to contact the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate General of India in Dubai through their official channels.
The appointment system has been introduced to streamline passport, visa and attestation services, reduce waiting times and ensure a smoother experience for the large Indian community residing in the UAE during the transition period.
