Covid-19: Himachal Pradesh extends curfew till June 30
Chandigarh, May 26, 2020: With the sharp spike in cases within few days – 225 and 5 deaths – the Himachal Pradesh government has taken a decision to extend the curfew by a month till June 30.
The worst-hit districts are Hamirpur with 63 cases Kangra 57, Una 30 and Chamb 18 cases. With Kangra merging as the Covid hotspot, the outbreak is feared in the slums with the migrant population. The increase in cases is due to the returning of a large number of people to the state from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chennai and West Bengal.
