Maur Mandi, Bathinda, April 19 - The AAP government of Punjab is making special efforts to raise the standard of living of the people; under which 600 units of electricity are being given free of charge and other public welfare schemes are being run.
These views were expressed by Ameet Khudian, son of Jathedar Gurmeet Singh Khudian, AAP's candidate from Bathinda Lok Sabha Constituency, while addressing a corner meeting in Maur Constituency. He said that although the opposition candidates are shouting about development, the real development will happen when the living standards of the people of the constituency are raised and they can get all kinds of facilities.
He said that the traditional parties that ruled the state for 50 years did not take any steps for the betterment of the people but filled their houses. Ameet Khudian told people about the life of his grandfather late Member of Parliament Jagdev Singh Khudian and said that even though he cannot become like him, he will continue to follow the path of honesty and truth shown by him.
He said that 350 days out of 365 days, some member of the Khuddian family will be present in the service of the people. He said that you will feel proud by voting for Jathedar Khudian, because he did not allow any blot on him while being an MLA and a minister.
On this occasion, Maur Constituency MLA Sukhbir Singh Maisar khana said that the Khudian family has come into politics not to earn money like traditional leaders but to serve the public. Therefore, all should support the Jathedar Khuddis and send them to the Parliament.
