Surjit SIngh Rakhra during schoo programme
Chandigarh, June 13, 2015: BJP in Punjab seems very upset with its alliance partner SAD and Badal Government for shifting of Prof. Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar from Delhi Tihar Jail to Punjab. It has been learnt that the state party unit has planned to take up this issue aggressively with Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. According to BJP leaders the party feels that the issue of Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar is linked to the national security and unity of the country, therefore the government should take precautionary measures in such sensitive issues. While talking to Babushahi.com BJP President Kamal Sharma confirmed this development and said that the state party leadership will take up the issue at appropriate forum. It Sh. Kamal Sharma met Punjab Government Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki after the core committee meeting. He may have discussed the issue with Governor keeping in mind the sensitivity of the issue. The BJP state party unit had also opposed the levying of entry-tax on sugar in Punjab .BJP was not taken into confidence on this issue also. There seems tug of war between both alliance partners before the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Anandpur Sahib on June 19.
