Fazilka, August 13, 2017: The paintings on the trees along the Sadqi border will tell the stories of patriotism to the visitors coming to witness retreat ceremony, on the independence day celebrations.
The work of painting on around 200 trees has been started from Sadqi border under the tutelage of historical, Lachhman Dost and his team of Santosh Choudhary, Vishu Taneja, Krishan Teaneja, Sonia Kamboj, Janat, Khusi, Tammana and Ayus, with the assistance of Border Security Force – BSF.
Speaking to the media persons, Lachman Dost said, there are around 30,000 visitors on the Sadqi border on the Independence Day celebrations including the tourists from various states. He said, the aim of painting on the trees with patriotic slogans, map of India, national flag, national bird and mottos with colourful designs, is to inculcate the feeling of patriotism among the visitors.
With proud feeling, he said, the lion’s paintings on the trees facing Pakistan side so that Pakistanis should know that every youth of India keeps a power like lion and courage to face strongly to any problem even by sacrificing the life for the sake of mother land.
