Punjab government fully with farmers for cancellation of Agri. Bills : Rana Sodhi
Ferozepur October 5, 2020: Punjab Cabinet Minister for Sports and Youth Services Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi addressed a farmers / agriculture rally at Sangrur under the able leadership of Congress National Leader Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh. Joined thousands of his supporters.
On the occasion, Rana Sodhi also discussed farmers issues with Congress National Leader Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh.
Cabinet Minister Rana Sodhi said that Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh would not allow these black laws to be implemented in the state at any cost and will made every effort to repeal the anti-farmer bills passed by the Union Government and in this regard, this three days' Kisan Bachao Rally is being organized.
He said that these bills passed by the Union government would not only affect the farmers but also the economy of Punjab. Sodhi said that BJP government at the center was bent upon killing farmers and had handed over the entire country to traders adding that Punjab government was considering every point including legal points against these black laws.
Rana Sodhi said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Capt. Amarinder Singh is standing with the farmers for the repeal of the Agriculture Bills and was ready to make any sacrifice for this. He said that the Punjab government would not allow these anti-agriculture black laws of the Center to be implemented in the state under any circumstances and would continue to oppose them till the Bill was repealed or amended in favor of the farmers.
