Ludhiana (Punjab), December 5, 2025: In a major boost to Punjab’s infrastructure and urban development, Vardhman Amrante, the flagship real estate arm of the Oswal Group, has received the Letter of Intent (LOI) from GLADA for Ludhiana’s largest commercial project. The project has also secured key approvals, including CLU (Change of Land Use) and layout approval, marking a significant milestone for the state’s development landscape.
Adish Oswal, Chairman of the Oswal Group, expressed gratitude to the Punjab Government for its support. “We sincerely thank the Punjab Government for its proactive approach in strengthening infrastructure and enabling us to pioneer an investment of ₹1,350 crore in Punjab’s development. We are especially grateful to the Chief Administrator, his team, and the Department of Town Planning for approving the CLU, layout, and issuing the LOI for our ambitious project. This landmark development reflects our commitment to sustainability, excellence, and compliance while setting new benchmarks for integrated urban growth,” he said.
Vardhman Amrante is set to develop a landmark mixed-use destination featuring high-end commercial and retail spaces, vibrant F&B zones, a multiplex, a premium 5-star hotel, and one of the region’s most advanced entertainment centres. Strategically situated on Canal Road in South City, Ludhiana, the project boasts excellent connectivity and close proximity to premium residential townships, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions. The development is also designed as an IGBC Gold-rated green building, reaffirming the company’s commitment to sustainable architecture.
A key highlight of the project is the strategic partnership with Westin Hotels & Resorts, through which Punjab’s first Westin hotel will be established in Ludhiana. The 200-key luxury hotel will serve as the crown jewel of the development, offering a wellness-driven hospitality experience for business and leisure travellers alike.
With these approvals, Vardhman Amrante’s mixed-use project is poised to reshape Ludhiana’s commercial skyline and reinforce the Punjab Government’s focus on modern, sustainable urban growth.
