Daughter of PSPCL Lineman Cracks UPSC in First Attempt, Secures AIR 51

Chandigarh/Rajpura: In an inspiring achievement, Rasneet Kaur, the 22-year-old daughter of Jaswinder Singh, a lineman with Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), has cleared the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination in her first attempt, securing an impressive All-India Rank (AIR) 51.
Hailing from Rajpura in Punjab, Rasneet’s success has become a source of pride for her family and the local community. Despite limited resources, she relied primarily on self-study, supplemented by learning through online platforms, to prepare for the highly competitive examination.
Determined to achieve her goal, Rasneet dedicated an entire year at home exclusively to preparation. She also received guidance and coaching support from Samkalp IAS, which helped her refine her strategy and approach to the exam.

Her achievement stands as a testament to hard work, discipline and determination, proving that with focus and perseverance, even the toughest examinations can be conquered.
