24 trainees shortlisted during Apprenticeship Fair at ITI Ferozepur
Ferozepur, May 12, 2026: A special Apprenticeship Fair was organized at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Ferozepur under the guidance of Principal-cum-Deputy Director Hardeep Kumar with the objective of connecting youth with employment opportunities and the industrial sector.
Students participated in the fair with great enthusiasm and were provided a valuable platform to interact directly with representatives of various industries and explore job opportunities according to their technical skills and qualifications.
A total of 63 trainees participated in the apprenticeship fair, out of which 24 trainees were shortlisted by different reputed industries. The selection was made on the basis of technical knowledge, practical skills and performance during interviews conducted on the spot.
Several well-known industrial units from the region participated in the fair, and representatives of these companies interviewed students and assessed their technical competence.
Speaking on the occasion, Hardeep Kumar said that apprenticeship fairs play an important role in connecting students with the industrial world and provide a new direction to the future of young people.
Training Officer Rajesh Kumar also addressed the students and highlighted the importance of apprenticeship training. He motivated students to sharpen their technical skills and make full use of technical education.
