Arvind Kejriwal set for 2-day visit to Punjab; Details Inside

Chandigarh, October 7, 2025: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Coordinator Arvind Kejriwal will begin a two-day visit to Punjab, accompanied by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, starting today.
Day 1 – Jalandhar:
Tomorrow in Jalandhar, Kejriwal, as the chief guest alongside CM Mann, will inaugurate power transmission and distribution projects in Punjab worth Rs 5,000 crore. The projects aim to strengthen the state’s power infrastructure and improve electricity supply.
Following this, he will attend the ‘One India 2025 National Cultural Festival’ at Lovely Professional University, also as the chief guest, highlighting the state’s commitment to promoting cultural unity and youth engagement.
Day 2 – Bathinda & Chandigarh:
On the second day of the tour, in Bathinda, CM Mann will lay the foundation stone for 3,100 new world-class playgrounds across Punjab, with a total investment of Rs 1,184 crore, in a ceremony attended by Kejriwal. These playgrounds aim to provide modern sports infrastructure for children and youth.
Later in the afternoon, the Chief Minister and Kejriwal will jointly launch the Entrepreneurship Mindset Course in Chandigarh, an initiative to encourage innovation and entrepreneurial skills among young people in the state.
The two-day visit underscores the AAP leadership’s focus on infrastructure development, youth engagement, and cultural promotion in Punjab.
