Breaking: Haryana Congress announces 104 Block Presidents across 19 districts; List Inside

Chandigarh, June 17, 2026: The Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) on Wednesday unveiled a major organisational reshuffle, appointing 104 Block Congress Committee Presidents across 19 districts of the state. The appointments were approved by Haryana Congress President Rao Narendra Singh.
According to the official notification, the appointments have been made with immediate effect to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure and enhance its organisational presence at the block and booth levels ahead of upcoming political challenges.
The newly appointed block presidents represent districts including Ambala, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Gurugram, Hisar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Mahendergarh, Nuh, Palwal, Panchkula, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, Sonipat and Yamunanagar.
Among the key appointments, Aman Deep Shera has been named president of Ambala Cantt Block, Dinesh Kumar Shastri of Bhiwani Urban, Suresh Sheoran of Badhra Block in Charkhi Dadri, Harbans Lal of Tohana Block in Fatehabad, Ravinder Singh of Pataudi Block in Gurugram and Kuldeep Singh of Adampur Block in Hisar.
In Karnal district, Amit Barhana has been appointed president of Nilokheri Block, while Parampreet Pappu Lather and Dharampal Kaushik will head Karnal MC-I and Karnal MC-II respectively. In Kurukshetra district, Parveen Singh has been given charge of Ladwa Block and Vivek Mehta will lead Thanesar Urban.
The list also includes appointments in politically significant districts such as Rohtak, Sonipat, Rewari and Nuh, where the Congress is looking to strengthen its cadre base and improve grassroots mobilisation.
