Chandigarh, September 24, 2026: The Punjab Government has challenged the ongoing investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, terming it illegal. This late-night development has stirred significant activity in administrative and political circles.
According to available information, taking serious note of the matter, the High Court has appointed a Warrant Officer for the GMADA office. The Warrant Officer will inspect the spot to verify the ongoing action and probe being conducted by the ED.
As per court orders, the Warrant Officer will submit a comprehensive report regarding the ED's proceedings to the High Court by 2:00 PM today, September 24.
