- ED arrests Congress leader Bharat Bhushan Ashu
  
  Jalandhar, 1 August 2024 - Senior Congress leader and former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu has been arrested by the ED team from Jalandhar. Bharat Bhushan Ashu reached the ED office on Thursday morning to join the investigation where his interrogation continued till evening.
  
  Later, the former minister was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate under the Money Laundering Act.
