MLA Bhullar launches sewer cleaning drive with Super Sucker Machine
₹97 lakh plan to ensure sewer cleaning across Ferozepur, Says MLA Bhullar
Ferozepur, April 3, 2026:To ensure proper cleaning of sewerage lines and improve sanitation in the city, Ferozepur Urban MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar has inaugurated a sewer cleaning drive using a modern super sucker machine.
MLA Bhullar informed that an estimate of ₹97 lakh has been prepared for sewer cleaning across Ferozepur city, out of which a work order worth ₹49 lakh has already been issued. The cleaning will be carried out using an advanced super sucker machine to ensure efficient and thorough maintenance of sewer lines, preventing inconvenience to residents. He added that continuous funds are being released to strengthen infrastructure and sanitation across the state.
The drive will cover several areas of the city, including Border Road, Basti Bhattian, Shanti Nagar, Rame Wala, Hake Wala, Basti Nizamdin, Ichhe Wala Road, Ranjit Colony, Bedi Colony, Basti Tanka Wali, Mallwal Road, Anil Baghi Road, Vikas Vihar, Blaki Wala, Delhi Gate, Rikhi Colony, Dulchi Ke Road, Shamshan Ghat area, Sokar Canal, Brahm Nagri, and Bhagat Singh Colony.
Bhullar emphasized that officials have been directed to ensure the work is carried out efficiently and effectively so that residents do not face any sewer-related issues.
