The Gill family of Maluka village in Bathinda district, having a prominent presence in the United States, has been bereaved following the passing of Sardar Surjit Singh Gill on September 11, 2026.
Sardar Surjit Singh Gill was the father of Bikram Gill, CEO of Gill Energy, New Jersey, USA, and uncle of US-based NRI Kashmir Singh Gill.
The last rites (cremation) will be performed at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at his native village, Maluka, in Bathinda district.
The Bhog and Antim Ardas for the departed soul will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gurdwara Taraana Sahib, Village Maluka, District Bathinda.
