Banur council gets Jagtar Singh Kamboj as its new President
Mohali, April 9, 2021:
Congress councilor Jagtar Singh Kamboj today elected as the new President of the Banur Municipal Council.
In the presence of Mohali Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Jagdeep Saigal, the meeting of the council was held on Friday and the councilors elected the President and Vice-President.
Jagdish Chand Kala was elected as the Vice-President of the council. Congress legislator from Rajpura, Hardyal Singh Kamboj was also present on this occasion.
Notably, the results for the elections of Banur municipal council were announced on February 17. Congress won 12 seats out of total 13 seats, while one seat went to Shiromani Akali Dal ( SAD).
