Surrey: Punjab Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian honored by Friends of Canada-India Foundation

Vancouver (Canada), August 24, 2024: Gurmeet Singh Khudian, Agriculture Minister of Punjab was honored by the Canada-India Foundation At the Ultimate Banquet Hall located on Scott Road, Surrey.
The event was organized with the local Punjabi community to honor the Punjab Minister. People in large number from the Punjabi community participated in the program.
Gurmeet Singh Khudian was welcomed by Liberal MP Sukh Dhaliwal, MP Randeep Sarai, and Maninder Gill, moderator of Radio India and president of the foundation.

Advocate Loveleen Singh Gill and Balbir Singh Changyara expressed their happiness at the arrival of the Minister and highlighted the existing problems in Punjab.
Speakers also raised the issue of the construction of the road from Phagwara to Sri Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of the Khalsa, along with the problems faced by the NRI people in Punjab.

In his address on this occasion, Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian praised the important contribution made by the people of the Punjabi community living in other countries including Canada for their own and Punjab's progress due to their hard work.
Along with this, he also especially thanked the great role played by the migrant Punjabis in Punjab to form the provincial government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
