Senior journalist of Babushahi Hindi.com Shashibhushan Purohit appointed as national member of National Journalists Union of India, also given charge of Punjab

Chandigarh, December 12, 2024 - Senior journalist from Himachal Pradesh Shashibhushan Purohit has been given an important responsibility in the National Journalists Union of India.
Purohit, who has worked as a bureau in-charge in various national newspapers for a long time, was appointed as a member of the national executive of NUJI at the national conference held in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
NUJI National President Rash Bihari has also appointed him in-charge of Punjab state. Shashibhushan Purohit is currently serving as the Himachal Pradesh head of Babushahi Hindi.com, a prestigious media group of Chandigarh. Earlier, he had served as the Bureau Chief of Amar Ujala in many districts for about 15 years.
Apart from being the city bureau chief in Amar Ujala Chandigarh, Shashi Bhushan Purohit has also been the bureau chief in Manali, Dharamshala, Mandi, Una, Solan districts.
Considering the services of Shashibhushan Purohit, who is conscious about social values journalism and the rights of journalists, NUJI has entrusted him with an important responsibility. Shashibhushan Purohit thanked National President Rash Bihari, National General Secretary Pradeep Tiwari, Treasurer Dr. Arvind Singh for this responsibility.
On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh Journalists Union State President Dr. Ranesh Rana, General Secretary Dr. Kishore Thakur, Cashier Ompal Thakur, Vice President Surinder Sharma, Vishal Anand, Shyam Lal Pundir, Joginder Dev Arya, Pankaj, Press Club Baddi President Dr. Sachin, Ankush, Rishi Thakur, Hariram Dhiman, District President Solan Amit Thakur, Sumit Thakur, State Organization Minister Gopal Sharma congratulated Shashibhushan on getting the new responsibility. They said that Purohit's coronation will strengthen the protection of the rights of journalists.
