NEET UG 2025 on Sunday: Strict Dress Code and Guidelines Issued – Know What to Carry and What Not To

With the NEET UG 2025 exam scheduled for Sunday, May 4, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a detailed set of guidelines for the 23 lakh candidates appearing for the prestigious medical entrance test.
Candidates are urged to strictly adhere to the rules to avoid any last-minute complications at the examination centre.
✅ Items Allowed at the Exam Centre:

A transparent water bottle

A small transparent bottle of hand sanitizer

A self-declaration form (downloaded with admit card)

A valid government-approved photo ID such as:

After the exam, candidates must submit their original OMR sheet and admit card to the invigilator.

It is advisable to visit the exam centre a day in advance to avoid confusion on the exam day.
❌ Strictly Prohibited Items and Dress Code:

Avoid clothes with large buttons and shoes with thick soles as they are not allowed inside the exam hall.

Study materials such as notes, rough papers, geometry boxes, plastic pouches, calculators, stationery items, and pen drives are banned.

Electronic and communication devices including:

Mobile phones

Bluetooth devices

Smartwatches

Microphones

Earphones

Pagers

Health bands

Accessories like wallets, belts, sunglasses, caps, bracelets, cameras, and any kind of metal objects are strictly not permitted.

Food and beverages, whether packed or open, are not allowed inside.

Spy gadgets, microchips, Bluetooth earpieces or any device that could aid in cheating are completely prohibited.
Candidates are advised to reach the examination center well in time, remain calm, and follow all instructions carefully to ensure a smooth and fair examination process.
