Jammu-Pathankot National Highway submerged in water as UBDC caves in

Pathankot, August 27, 2025: Jammu-Pathankot National highway was submerged into water after UBDC canal caved in.
Water was flowing at 2 fee on the road. NDRF teams have been deputed in the area and people are being evacuated.
Locals disclosed that around 8 pm in the evening suddenly water came to road and fields. Crops have been submerged and people have also suffered loss of cattle and other milch animals.
