Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab and Jugni Innov Foundation Organize Jugaad Mela 3.0 (Inno Fest 3.0)

Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab (LTSU), in collaboration with Jugni Innov Foundation, successfully organized the third edition of its flagship innovation festival, Jugaad Mela 3.0 (Inno Fest 3.0), at the university campus in Railmajra near Ropar. The event served as a vibrant platform to showcase frugal innovations, entrepreneurial ideas, and grassroots creativity from across Punjab.
The Chief Guest, Sh. Amardeep Singh Rai, DGP (Traffic), Punjab, inaugurated the event by performing the ceremonial lighting of the sacred lamp. In his presidential address, he motivated the audience to actively participate in such initiatives, highlighting that the youth of India possess the skills and ideas capable of transforming the nation. “We must learn from the teachings of our Gurus and work collectively to bring progress in every field,” he emphasized.
The event was coordinated by Er. Amandeep Singh, Joint Director, who shared details about the program. Prof. Bhagwant Singh Satyal, Registrar, extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Dean, USOCM, briefed the audience about the university's mission and vision, emphasizing various initiatives undertaken to skill and empower the youth of the country.
Ashish Mehta, Guest of Honour, encouraged young innovators to pursue startup ventures, acknowledging challenges but also underlining the wealth of opportunities available in today’s startup ecosystem.
Notable speakers such as Dilraj Singh (CCNap, Switzerland) and Dr. Manpreet Singh (GRIP) described the event as an ideal platform for creative minds and innovators to network and grow.
In their remarks, Chancellor S. N S Rayat and Vice Chancellor Dr. A.S. Chawla appreciated the impactful initiatives led by Jugni Innov Foundation. The event also witnessed the participation of senior academic and administrative members including Dr. H.P.S. Dhami (Executive Dean), Dr N S Gill ( Executive Dean) Vimal Manhotra( CEO), Dr. V.K. Saini (Deputy Dean), Er. Mandeep Atwal (Deputy Dean), Dr Amit Sharma (Deputy Dean), and Prof. Narinder Bhumbla (PRO, LTSU Punjab), Er. Kulwinder Singh.
Jugni Innov Co-Founder Vishal Singh and his team were also present and played a key role in executing the event.

The event witnessed an overwhelming response from students from ITIs, colleges, and rural backgrounds, showcasing low-cost innovations and practical technologies aimed at solving real-world challenges. Jugaad Mela 3.0 not only celebrated Punjab’s inventive spirit but also inspired the next generation of changemakers and problem-solvers.
