Hambla Foundation launches medical camps in flood-affected villages of Ferozepur
Ferozepur, October 5, 2025: The Hambla Foundation Punjab, which has been serving flood-affected areas since the very first day, has now begun organising medical camps in villages.
Sharing the information, Foundation President Dr Surjit Singh Sidhu, along with Gama Sidhu, Jagdeep Warring, P.K., Tarlochan Musafir, Kanwaljit Kaur, and Rishi Rahi, said that the organisation has already set up a rehabilitation camp at village Jhugge Hazara Singh Wala in Ferozepur. They informed that surveys are being conducted to ensure the timely delivery of assistance to the affected families.
The team noted that, as anticipated, the water recession has led to the gradual spread of diseases in villages. They stressed that it is important to control these health issues before they worsen, which is why the Foundation has begun village-level medical camps. Starting today, a camp was organised at village Gatti Rahimeke, where Dr Angrez Singh Bhullar examined patients and provided medicines.
The team also announced that in the coming days, more such camps would be held in various villages to prevent the spread of diseases and to provide timely medical relief.
On this occasion, Gurjant Bhullar, Rajwinder Ghali, Gurcharan Butter, Gurmeet Book, Malkit Singh, Parmjit Singh Pamma, Gurdev Kaka, Kamal Veeru, Lavish Labba, Pawan Vilasra, and Parminder Pindu, among others, were present.
