SCF meets, vows to strengthen unity and address civic Issues
Ferozepur, October 12, 2025: The Executive Committee of the Senior Citizens Forum Ferozepur, held a meeting today at the Baghban Complex, where members focused on both internal cohesion and urgent local civic problems.
Speakers at the meeting emphasized the critical need for unity, discipline, and adherence to rules among all members to further strengthen the Senior Citizens Forum. It was also decided to follow up on the health of members who have been absent from meetings for a long period.
A key agenda point involved the planning and execution of tasks assigned to various sub-committees. These committees have been tasked with meeting senior officials of the concerned government departments to find solutions for several pressing civic issues impacting the city and the convenience of its citizens.
The issues raised for immediate action include - The condition of city roads, the efficacy of the sewerage system, management and care of stray dogs and cattle.
Mohinder Singh Dhaliwal, General Secretary said that the Forum's General Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 11:30 AM to celebrate pre-Diwali event.
