  Chandigarh, November 21, 2025 — The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued a notice to both the Punjab Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) Commission and the Punjab government after hearing a petition filed by Congress leader Amarinder Singh Raja Warring.
  
  The petition stems from Warring’s controversial remarks about the late former Union Minister and Dalit leader, Sardar Buta Singh.
  
  During the proceedings, the court refused to interfere
