Railway felicitates 16 employees with ‘Safety Award’ for ensuring safe train operations
Ferozepur, November 25, 2025: The Ferozepur Division honoured 16 railway employees with Safety Awards for their alertness, dedication, and timely action in ensuring safe train operations during September and October. The awards recognize the commitment and vigilance of staff across various departments who contributed significantly to track maintenance, train safety, and passenger security.
Those awarded include Track Maintainer-III Lakhbir Singh, Train Managers Harkesh Meena, Dharam Singh Meena, and Lalit Kumar Sharma; Pointsman Pintu Kumar and Ramesh Chandra Meena; TTEs Karanvir Singh and Arpit Kumar; Technicians Ramesh Chand Meena (Technician-II), Satish Kumar (Technician-I) and Aditya Kumar (Technician-II); Station Masters Parveen Kumar, Gagandeep, and Ankur Dhaka; Loco Pilot Sanjeev Kumar; and Gateman Naveen Kumar.
Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Kumar said the recognition aims to appreciate and motivate employees for their good work, adding that such encouragement will inspire others to perform their duties with greater vigilance. He reaffirmed that efforts will continue to uphold high safety standards in the division.
On the occasion, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Nitin Garg, Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Ranjana Sehgal, Senior Divisional Safety Officer Rohit Verma, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer/TRD Jeet Ram, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer Bhupender, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Parmdeep Singh Saini, Senior Divisional Operations Manager Gurusharan Pathak, Senior Divisional Engineer-III Navalpreet Kaur, and other officials were present.
