Sri Anandpur Sahib (Punjab), November 25,2025: In a groundbreaking blend of spirituality and technology, the Punjab Government has introduced an immersive Mixed Reality (MR) experience to mark the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The initiative aims to honour the Ninth Guru’s unparalleled sacrifice and teachings while offering devotees a modern, engaging way to connect with history.
The 360° MR experience can be accessed through QR codes installed on standees at commemorative events. With just a smartphone, viewers are transported into a deeply immersive digital narrative that feels both respectful and futuristic.

At the heart of this tribute is an interactive experience titled “Hind Di Chadar,” which recreates 11 significant moments from Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life. These include his coronation, his unwavering stand for religious freedom, his martyrdom at Chandni Chowk, and the secret cremation at Rakab Ganj Sahib. Each scene is crafted with rich visuals and historically authentic narration, drawing from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib and documented historical sources.
Adding to the spiritual aura is a mesmerizing light-and-shadow presentation woven into the Mixed Reality journey.
The technological backbone of this project has been developed with support from Flam, enabling Punjab to deliver a one-of-a-kind digital homage to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s legacy.
