Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman today started soft launching of EG registries at the Tehsil Office located in the District Administrative Complex here with a view to removing the minor flaws in the registries so that the general public does not face any problem regarding the registries.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman obtained information regarding the EG registries conducted so far. He instructed the concerned officials that the general public should not face any problem and that registrations should be done on the spot as soon as possible without any delay.
The Deputy Commissioner said that so far 498 EG registries have been registered. Giving further information, he said that 206 registries have been registered in Tehsil Bathinda, 86 in Nathana, 15 in Goniana, 38 in Maur, 40 in Rampura, 53 in Talwandi Sabo, 50 in Balianwali, 5 each in Bhagta Bhaika and Sangat.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the common people who came to get their registrations done at the Tehsil office.
The common people told the Deputy Commissioner that they do not have any problem and the registrations are being done without any delay or bribe.
During this, the Deputy Commissioner also appealed to the common people to cooperate with the office staff.
On this occasion, Tehsildar Kuldeep Singh, DSM Mr. Loveneet, other officers and common people were present.
