Placement and self-employment camp to be held in Tarn Taran on Dec 23

Tarn Taran (Punjab), December 19, 2025: To provide employment opportunities to unemployed youth, the District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau, Tarn Taran, will organise a placement and self-employment camp on December 23, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The camp will be held at the District Employment and Business Bureau, Room No. 115, First Floor, District Administrative Complex, Sarhali Road (Village Pindi), Tarn Taran.
The initiative is being conducted under the guidelines of the Punjab Government and under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Tarn Taran, Mr. Rahul, IAS, with the guidance of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Farm Development) Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma.
Providing details, Mr. Vikram Jeet, District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer, Tarn Taran, said that the self-employment camp is being organised with the support of the District Industries Centre, Dairy Development Department, Fisheries Department, Animal Husbandry Department, District Manager SCFC Tarn Taran and the Lead District Manager.
During the camp, participants will be provided information about various self-employment schemes, training programmes and employment opportunities offered by different government departments.
He informed that Ajyal Herbal Company will participate in the placement camp and is seeking to recruit Sales Advisors.
The required qualification is 12th pass or graduate, with a salary ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month. The age limit for applicants is 18 to 30 years, and the vacancies are for female candidates only.
