Haryana CM Saini announces Rs 2,081 crore development projects in Kharkhoda

Chandigarh, December 28, 2025: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reiterated the government’s commitment to good governance, transparency, and comprehensive development during a development rally in Kharkhoda.
He laid the foundation stones for two sub-health centres in Sohanti and Thana Kalan villages of Sonipat district, worth Rs. 1.10 crore, and announced a separate grant of Rs. 5 crore for the overall development of Kharkhoda town.
The Chief Minister detailed a series of infrastructure projects, including:
- Beautification of Thana Chowk and Delhi Chowk
- Rs. 8 crore for the main park
- Rs. 3.50 crore for stadium renovation
- A waste management plant at Rs. 8.37 crore
- A digital library, a drinking water project of Rs. 26.46 crore, and future rest house and multi-storey parking facilities
- Road development: Rs. 28.30 crore for 45 km of nine PWD roads, repairs of 35 km across six roads, and paving of 25 km of kachcha roads
Highlighting achievements under the BJP government, CM Saini said that 2 lakh youth will soon get jobs, with 34,000 already employed.
He emphasized welfare initiatives including the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana, providing Rs. 258 crore to over seven lakh women, subsidized LPG cylinders benefiting 14.70 lakh families, and digital land registration. Housing schemes under PM Awas Yojana and Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana have provided shelter and plots to thousands of poor families.
On agriculture, CM Saini stressed farmer-friendly policies with all crops procured at MSP, totaling Rs. 1.64 lakh crore directly transferred to 12 lakh farmers. Healthcare initiatives include free treatment worth Rs. 4,126 crore under Ayushman Bharat–Chirayu Yojana and free dialysis services in government hospitals.
The rally also highlighted industrial growth in Kharkhoda, with Maruti Suzuki investing Rs. 18,000 crore in an ultra-mega automobile project at IMT Kharkhoda and Suzuki Motorcycle investing Rs. 2,000 crore. CM Saini said the government is working at triple speed to fulfil 217 manifesto promises, with 54 already completed in one year and work underway on 163.
Haryana Cooperation and Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma described the government as a people’s government, while BJP State President Mohan Lal Badoli expressed confidence that remaining manifesto promises will be fulfilled soon.
Kharkhoda MLA Sh. Pawan Kharkhoda highlighted the government’s focus on policies for farmers, youth, women, and workers, emphasizing strengthened governance, improved infrastructure, healthcare, education, and connectivity.
Other dignitaries present included Sonipat MLA Nikhil Madan, Ganaur MLA Devender Kadyan, Municipal Corporation Mayor Rajeev Jain, and district BJP leaders.
This development rally showcased the Nayab Government’s focus on inclusive growth, infrastructure, employment, welfare, and industrial development, positioning Kharkhoda as a rapidly growing industrial and urban hub in Haryana.
