VWS Chairman honoured at 26th Rashtra Katha Shivir for contribution to National Integration
Ferozepur, January 4, 2026: Dr. Gaurav Sagar Bhaskar, Chairman Vivekananda World School, Ferozepur was honoured at the 26th Rashtra Katha Shivir – National Integration Camp held at Pransla, a remote village located around 140 km from Rajkot in Gujarat. The ten-day national camp, which concluded on January 4, 2026, emerged as a powerful symbol of unity, cultural pride and youth-led nation building. On the penultimate day of the camp, Dr. Bhaskar was felicitated by Rakesh Kumar, former DIG NDRF, who honoured him with a traditional Gujarati pagri and shawl in recognition of his contribution and presence at the national forum. The moment stood as a gesture of respect rooted in India’s rich cultural traditions.
The 26th edition of Rashtra Katha Shivir, organised from December 25, 2025, to January 4, 2026, under the visionary guidance of Swami Dharambandhu, Chief of Shri Vedic Mission Trust, brought together over 20,000 youths from across the country, representing every State and Union Territory. From Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat, young participants lived, learned and trained together, imbibing discipline, patriotism and the timeless values of Indian culture.
The camp was marked by meticulous arrangements, including free food, medical facilities and logistical support, allowing participants to focus entirely on character building and national integration.
The presence of eminent personalities such as Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar (Hon’ble Governor Of Karela), Retd. Justice Dinesh Maheshwari (Chairperson Of Law Commission Of India), Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit (Chief of Integrated Defence Staff of India), Admiral K. Tripathi ( Naval Chief Of India), Dr.V.Narayana, Chairman ISRO & Secretary Department of Space, India, Mohan Yadav (Chief Minister Of Madhya Pradesh) and the legendary actor Mukesh Khanna further enriched the experience through inspiring interactions.
The sight of thousands of young Indians including more than a dozen students of Vivekananda World School led by Darshan Singh Sidhu, Coordinator (Sports), united in a remote village of Gujarat stood as a living embodiment of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, reaffirming faith in the collective strength and shared destiny of the nation.
