MLA Bhullar inaugurates first newly built Auditorium Hall at Govt Primary School
Ferozepur, January 22, 2026: Highlighting the importance of providing early exposure and confidence-building platforms to young students, MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar on Thursday inaugurated the district’s first newly built auditorium hall at Government Primary School, Shahdeen Wala.
Addressing the gathering, Bhullar said that an auditorium at the primary level plays a crucial role in the overall development of children by giving them opportunities to participate in cultural, literary and co-curricular activities from an early age. “Such facilities help students overcome stage fear, develop communication skills and discover their hidden talents,” he said.
The MLA further stated that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is working with full seriousness towards strengthening the health and education sectors. He said the face of government schools has changed due to the provision of handsome grants, resulting in improved infrastructure and better learning environments. Emphasising the role of primary schools, Bhullar added that these institutions form the foundation where a child’s educational journey begins.
Bhullar also mentioned that the AAP government has ensured all schools are equipped with essential basic facilities and has recently introduced health insurance coverage of up to ₹10 lakh for every citizen, setting a new benchmark in the healthcare sector.
Earlier, welcoming the MLA, Headmistress Sukhwinder Kaur highlighted the achievements of the school and expressed gratitude for the new auditorium facility. Block Primary Education Officer Satiyawala, Daljit Kaur, appreciated the state government’s initiatives aimed at the holistic development of government schools.
Master Surinder Singh Gill proposed a vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to MLA Bhullar and all dignitaries present, including Principal SSS Lumbdi Wala, Neelam Dhawan, for gracing the occasion.
