Entrepreneurship Awareness Program organized at Govt ITI(W)
Ferozepur, January 21, 2026: The District Industries Centre, Ferozepur, organized a successful Entrepreneurship Awareness Program at the Government ITI (Women), Ferozepur. The primary objective of the event was to sensitize female students about entrepreneurship, self-employment opportunities, and various industrial schemes launched by the government.
The program featured LDM Geeta Mehta and Tajinder Singh, Director of the Industrial Department, as key speakers. Addressing the students, LDM Geeta Mehta emphasized that the economic empowerment of women is vital for the progress of society and the nation. She highlighted that the banking sector is actively providing loans, mentorship, and financial assistance to aspiring entrepreneurs, urging the students to step forward and become self-reliant.
Director Tajinder Singh provided detailed insights into the Industrial Department’s initiatives, including subsidies, training programs, and the government support available for establishing new industrial units. He encouraged the students to leverage their technical education to launch innovative business ventures.
