Over 200 driver-students educated through Street Play on road safety
Ferozepur, January 29, 2026: In a vibrant effort to reduce road accidents, the Muktsar Welfare Club organized a road safety awareness program at Dera Bhai Mastan featuring a powerful street play. The event, held during the ongoing National Road Safety Month, saw active participation from over 200 drivers and students who gathered to learn about the critical importance of traffic discipline.
The program was graced by ARTO Jaswinder Kamboj as the Chief Guest. School Principal Manish Chopra welcomed the attendees, and the event was smoothly facilitated by Lal Chand and Shaminder Batra. The highlight of the day was a student-led street play that effectively portrayed the grim consequences of traffic violations and road negligence.
Club President Jaspreet Singh Chhabra noted that visual storytelling through plays and the screening of a dedicated road safety film help leave a lasting impression on the audience. He emphasized that the goal is to transform how drivers perceive their responsibility on the road. Praising the initiative, Jaswinder Singh Kamboj urged other local organizations to replicate such educational models to ensure public safety.
The event was successfully coordinated by Harmel Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Deepanshu Kumar, Vijay Bajaj, Navdeep Singh, and Shabnam, with several distinguished members of the community in attendance.
