Reliance Jio initiates campaign to make school students and teachers AI-Ready across Haryana

Chandigarh, January 31, 2026: Reliance Jio has launched an AI classroom programme, an extensive digital education campaign across Haryana to empower students and teachers in schools with artificial intelligence (AI) skills. This initiative is part of Jio’s broader “AI for All” initiative.
Under this programme, Jio is offering a free online AI Classroom Foundation Course designed by Jio Institute to equip educators and students with practical AI skills.
The campaign has already made significant impact, with 455 schools registering for the AI course across Haryana. It is a four module course, with no time restrictions, so that online classes can be taken according to one’s convenience.
Teachers and students can access the programme and complete the course through jio.com/ai-course using a desktop or laptop, gaining practical exposure to AI technologies and industry-relevant skills.
The sessions focus on enabling educators and students to effectively use AI tools and prompts in academics and daily tasks. Participants are introduced to AI tools like NotebookLM, Gemini, ChatGPT and Adobe Express, for activities including note preparation, assignment writing, coding, project ideation, design thinking and more -- helping enhance personal, academic and professional growth.
If at least 100 students in a school complete the four modules, then that school is awarded an “AI-Ready” School certification from Jio Institute. There are different levels of certifications for students that include AI Explorer Badge, AI Completion Badge and Jio Institute Certificate. Users who do the course on the JioPC exclusively, get the Jio Institute certification.
To further promote digital skill learning, Jio is offering all its unlimited 5G users a complimentary ‘Google Gemini Pro Plan’ worth Rs 35,100 for 18 months, which can be activated via the MyJio app. The offer includes access to the latest Google Gemini 3 Pro model, advanced AI tools such as Nano Banana Pro for AI-assisted image creation, Veo 3.1 for video generation, along with 2TB of cloud storage.
