Teachers’ Seminars held under Mission Samarth 4.0 in Ferozepur-2 Block
Ferozepur, February 2, 2026: Under Mission Samarth 4.0, initiated by the Punjab School Education Department to strengthen the foundational learning of students in the new academic session, seminars for teachers are being organized across various blocks in the district.
Led by District Education Officer (Elementary) Sunita Rani and Deputy District Education Officer (Elementary) Komal Arora, with guidance from District Resource Coordinator Subhash Chandra, these seminars are being conducted in Block Ferozepur-2 under the supervision of Block Primary Education Officer Rajan Narula.
A large number of teachers are participating daily, gaining detailed information about Mission Samarth 4.0.
Speaking at the seminar, BPEO Rajan Narula stated that the Punjab Government is continuously working to strengthen the school education structure and elevate students’ learning levels. As part of this effort, Mission Samarth has been launched with the primary objective of providing a strong foundation in various subjects to students enrolling in the new session.
He added that resource persons are providing daily training to participating teachers. Resource persons Rajesh Makkar, Parmjit Singh Pamma, Mahinder Sharma, and Sumedha Arora delivered detailed sessions on testing procedures, grouping students by learning levels after testing, maintaining recording sheets, conducting various activities, worksheets, and achieving set targets in Punjabi, Mathematics, and English.
The resource persons highlighted the importance of the event noting that the project particularly focuses on addressing learning challenges for students with low learning levels. They appealed to teachers to implement the project with full dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm to successfully achieve departmental goals.
State Resource Person for Mathematics, Mahinder Singh Sheli, emphasized in his address that the main aim of the program is to strengthen students’ mathematical understanding, enabling children to learn through comprehension rather than mere memorization. He explained that through testing, students’ learning levels will be identified, and they will be grouped accordingly to ensure personalized attention for every child. This approach will help build a robust educational foundation for students.
