MLA Bhullar flags off 4th pilgrimage bus to Amritsar
Ferozepur, February 12, 2026: In a significant move to facilitate spiritual journeys for the residents of the Ferozepur Urban constituency, MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar today flagged off the fourth bus of pilgrims under the Punjab Government’s "Mukhya Mantri Tirath Yatra Yojana." The bus, carrying a large group of devotees, is headed towards the holy city of Sri Amritsar Sahib and its adjoining historical religious sites.
While addressing the gathering, MLA Bhullar highlighted that the scheme, launched under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, aims to provide a seamless and free pilgrimage experience to the public. He noted that the initiative has become a source of immense spiritual peace for many, particularly benefiting senior citizens and those from economically weaker backgrounds who can now visit sacred shrines without any financial constraints.
The itinerary for the pilgrims includes visits to prominent religious landmarks such as Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), Durgiana Mandir, and Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal. Beyond the religious aspect, the tour also covers historical and cultural sites, including the Partition Museum, Jallianwala Bagh, and the iconic retreat ceremony at the Wagah Border.
MLA Bhullar further informed that the Punjab Government is bearing all expenses for the journey, providing free transportation, quality food, and comfortable accommodation to ensure the devotees face no hardships during their travel. Extending his best wishes to the pilgrims for a safe and blessed journey, he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to respecting the religious sentiments of the people and vowed that such welfare-oriented schemes would continue to flourish in the future.
