Chandigarh, February 28, 2026: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab unit on Saturday announced that party ministers, MLAs and senior leaders from the state will travel to Delhi to participate in National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s public rally at Jantar Mantar on Sunday at 11 AM.
The Punjab leadership said it would join thousands of party karyakartas and supporters to express solidarity and to hear Kejriwal outline the party’s future roadmap.
AAP Punjab General Secretary and Media In-charge Baltej Pannu stated that the entire state leadership stands firmly with the National Convenor. “AAP Punjab leaders and volunteers will reach Delhi in large numbers to show solidarity and to listen to our National Convenor’s vision for the future,” he said.
Referring to the recent court decision discharging Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders in the alleged liquor policy case, Pannu asserted that people across Punjab and the country have unwavering faith in Kejriwal’s honesty and commitment to clean politics. “The truth has prevailed,” he remarked.
AAP Punjab spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said the rally would expose what he termed as conspiracies by the BJP against AAP leadership. “There was a deliberate attempt to tarnish the image of honest leaders to gain political advantage. The people have understood these tactics,” he said.
Dhaliwal added that the message from Jantar Mantar would resonate nationwide, inspiring those who believe in transparent governance and pro-people policies. “Punjab stands shoulder to shoulder with Arvind Kejriwal. This rally will not only respond to false allegations but also set a new direction for national politics,” he said.
The Punjab unit also urged party workers travelling to Delhi to maintain discipline and ensure the rally’s success, calling it a significant moment in the country’s political journey.
