Chandigarh, March 13, 2026: Nayab Singh Saini, Chief Minister of Haryana, on Friday said that the supply of domestic LPG, petrol and diesel in the state is completely normal and dismissed rumours suggesting disruptions due to tensions in the Middle East.
The Chief Minister said reports circulating about shortages of fuel and cooking gas are baseless and appealed to citizens not to panic or believe unverified information.
To review the situation, Saini held a meeting with senior officials of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Haryana and representatives of oil companies. During the meeting, oil company officials assured the government that adequate stock of petrol, diesel and LPG is available and supply chains remain uninterrupted.
The Chief Minister also said special arrangements have been made to ensure priority supply of commercial LPG cylinders to hospitals, educational institutions and other essential services. Oil companies are working continuously to maintain smooth distribution so that common consumers do not face inconvenience.
Saini further directed all Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police across the state to take strict action against theft, black marketing and hoarding of fuel and gas.
Appealing to the public, the Chief Minister urged people not to indulge in panic buying or unnecessary stockpiling of LPG cylinders and fuel.
He reiterated that the state government is closely monitoring the situation and remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted supply of cooking gas and fuel to every household in Haryana.
