Chandigarh, March 21, 2026: Punjab BJP President Sunil Kumar Jakhar on Saturday demanded the immediate registration of an FIR in connection with the death of Punjab State Warehousing Corporation District Manager Gagandeep Singh Randhawa.
Jakhar said the declaration made by the deceased before his death should form the basis of a criminal case.
He emphasised that the investigation must be conducted by the police, not handled at the administrative level.
“The probe will not be carried out by the Chief Secretary; it should be done by the police,” he stated, stressing the need for a fair and lawful investigation.
