Chandigarh, April 3, 2026: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday reacted to the removal of Raghav Chadha as the Aam Aadmi Party’s Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, asserting that those who deviate from the party line should face strict action.
“Those who break the party line must face action,” Mann said, stressing the need for discipline within the organisation.
He added that discussions within the party should remain focused on key political issues such as alleged irregularities in voting, including claims of valid votes being cut and fake votes being created. Mann also highlighted cases filed against AAP leaders and volunteers in Gujarat as matters that deserve attention.
Referring to the situation in Punjab, he said attempts are being made to incite people on the basis of religion and caste, and urged that such challenges be addressed through meaningful political debate.
Questioning the relevance of certain discussions, Mann remarked that focusing on issues like Samosa prices at airport or delivery timings raises concerns about whether such narratives are serving someone else’s interests.
