Ferozepur Rail Division hosts 69th Railway Week Award Distribution Ceremony
Ferozepur, April 10: The 69th Railway Week Award Distribution Ceremony was organised today at the Railway Officers’ Club in Ferozepur Division with great enthusiasm and dignity. The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a Saraswati Vandana presented by school students.
The ceremony was presided over by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sanjeev Kumar. Among those present were Additional Divisional Railway Manager Nitin Garg, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Sakshi Singh, along with other officers, employees, representatives of unions, associations, federations, and members of the North Railway Women Welfare Organisation.
During the event, employees who delivered outstanding performance in 2024–25 were honoured. A total of 63 railway employees were awarded for their commendable contributions across various fields of work.
Addressing the gathering, DRM Sanjeev Kumar congratulated all officers and staff for the division’s achievements. He expressed confidence that the awardees would continue their excellent performance and inspire others to strive for similar recognition in the future. He also emphasised that collective efforts would help the division achieve its targets in the coming years.
He further informed that at the 69th Distinguished Railway Service Awards Ceremony held in New Delhi, the Ferozepur Division of Northern Railway received several group shields, including the “Rail Madad Shield,” “Environment & Cleanliness Shield,” and “Sales Management Shield,” reflecting the division’s excellent performance.
