Railway introduces Weekly Special Train between Ferozepur Cantt and Jhanjharpur
Ferozepur, April 2026: To facilitate smooth travel during the summer season, the Indian Railways has announced the operation of a weekly summer special train between Ferozepur Cantonment and Jhanjharpur.
Train No. 04620/04619 Ferozepur Cantt–Jhanjharpur–Ferozepur Cantt Weekly Summer Special will run for six trips in each direction. Train No. 04620 will depart from Ferozepur Cantt every Saturday from April 18 to May 23, 2026, at 2:30 PM and will reach Jhanjharpur after approximately 33 hours, arriving at 11:30 PM the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 04619 will operate from Jhanjharpur every Monday from April 20 to May 25, 2026, departing at 1:00 AM and reaching Ferozepur Cantt at 10:40 AM after a journey of around 33 hours.
During its journey, the train will halt at several important stations including Lohian Khas, Jalandhar City, Phagwara, Dhandari Kalan, Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt, Barara, Yamunanagar Jagadhri, Saharanpur, Roorkee, Najibabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Burhwal, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Kaptanganj, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Sikta, Raxaul, Bairgania, Sitamarhi, Shisho, and Sakri in both directions.
Railway authorities have appealed to passengers to take advantage of this special service for a comfortable journey during the peak summer season.
