Blooming beauty draws crowds; Flower show steals spotlight at Green Carnival
Ferozepur, April 19, 2026: A vibrant Flower and Ornamental Plants Exhibition held at Gandhi Garden under the Environment Education Programme “The Green Carnival” emerged as the main attraction, captivating visitors with its stunning display of colors and creativity. Organized by the Ferozepur Cantonment Board, the exhibition beautifully showcased nature’s charm and artistic presentation.
Superintendent Manjeet Singh of the Cantonment Board stated that under the guidance of CEO Jones Vikas, the grand flower show was successfully presented as part of The Green Carnival, an initiative led by the Mayank Foundation to promote environmental awareness.
He highlighted that the dedicated team of gardeners, under the supervision of Head Mali Sheetla Prasad, worked tirelessly to ensure the parks in the cantonment area were in full bloom. Their efforts were clearly reflected in the exhibition, which featured a diverse range of vibrant flowers and ornamental plants, leaving visitors thoroughly impressed.
The Green Carnival, organized by the Mayank Foundation, aims to spread awareness about environmental conservation, sustainable living, and eco-friendly practices. The programme includes activities such as painting competitions, nature photography, cyclothon, flower exhibitions, and awareness drives, engaging people—especially children—in meaningful ways.
