34 parrots illegally held captive in cages recovered from Gurdaspur, case registered

Gurdaspur, May 22, 2026: A wild Life Protection Officer from Delhi raided a house in Gurdaspur and recovered 34 parrots in cage after which a case of registered against house owner.
According to available details, Sahil Kumar Wild Life Protection officer from Delhi raided house in Gurdaspur along with local officers of Wild life protection and police force. He disclosed to the media that he had specific information that parrots are being caged in the house and sold to buyers.
He said that we have recovered 34 parrots and case has been registered against house owner Rajinder Kumar and now further action as per law will follow.
