Chandigarh/Jalandhar, May 30, 2026: Leader of Opposition Punjab Assembly and Senior Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa has refutes media reports that he had walked out of meeting the Congress High Command yesterday.
Today he released a video as well as briefed media on the issue and said that nomination filing for his constituency Kadian was starting today, so he had to reach Jalandhar late night yesterday.
He said that he had apprised High command including AICC President Malikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and others on his take for improving performance of Punjab Congress and also apprised them about election schedule for his constituency as well as for other MCs in Gurdaspur.
