The railway has advised passengers to carry minimum luggage and keep their belongings safe during the journey. They should immediately alert railway authorities if they notice any suspicious object or activity.
Passengers have also been advised to check the latest status and timing of their trains before starting their journey through the NTES app or railway helpline 139.
As part of the awareness campaign, ticket-checking staff of the Ferozepur Division are actively sensitising passengers against carrying firecrackers and other inflammable materials on trains.
