Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar trying his hand in archery at Rahgiri programme in Karnal on September 20, 2015
Chandigarh, April 15, 2015: The historic win of SAD-BJP alliance candidate Gobind Singh Longowal in Dhuri by-poll is an approval of the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. People have once again rejected the Congress in Punjab too even as Aam Aadmi Party didn't dare to contest the poll from a constituency which had voted in favour of its candidate Bhagwant Mann in the Lok Sabha polls. This shows that the people of the country and in this case of Punjab have not only accepted the policies and programmes initiated and aggressively pursued by Prime Minister Narendra Modi but have also started re-imposing their faith on as a mark of appreciation. The agenda of development launched by the Union Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and prime minister's efforts to improve the relations with various countries have gone well with the people who have rewarded the SAD-BJP alliance with another victory with a thumping margin. The NDA government and the BJP would continue with their efforts for the welfare uplilftment of people of the country while the SAD-BJP government led by S.Parkash Singh Badal would continue its earnest efforts to serve the people of the Punjab. People of Dhuri have given a clear message that they don't approve the programmes and policies of the Congress as it has ruined the country with its consistent and systematic patronage to corruption. With this, people of Punjab have not only rejected Congress but also other opportunistic forces which have done nothing for the state and its people despite being in positions of power for so many decades. BJP would continue to vouch for the interests of people of Punjab as always and it thanks people of Punjab and specifically the electorate of Dhuri to have given a decisive mandate in favour of SAD-BJP alliance and its candidate.
