Breaking: Retired IPS officer appointed as Deputy NSA

New Delhi, August 24, 2025: The government has appointed Anish Dayal Singh, a retired 1988-batch IPS officer and former Director General of the CRPF and ITBP, as Deputy National Security Advisor (NSA).
Singh, who has served in several key security roles, brings decades of experience in handling internal security, counter-insurgency, and border management. His appointment is seen as part of the Centre’s efforts to strengthen the country’s national security framework.
